Decided to try this Rich Chocolate Cake that for some said it is close to Lana's. I also gave him a treat at Din Tai Fung since I was in Orchard Road shopping for a gift for him.
In fact, within a span of three days, we had Shanghainese food again!!! The first one was at Marina Square. Then why Shanghainese again?
Well, Din Tai Fung is famous for their Xiao Long Pau but each time I passed by, there is such a long queue that I give it a miss. Surprisingly, this time round, I was able to secure a seat within 10 mins. Here are what we filled our tummies with. *oops, forgotten the pork ribs! this one is awesome!*
Xiao Long Pau
Hargow. Interesting presentation.
Shrimp Dumplings
Hot and Spicy Soup. Feels that it is not hot spicy enough.
Pork Rib noodle.
Spicy Beef Noodle
We love the broth for both noodles. If by tonight I didn't develop rashes than I would say that it is really really good. Now no more room for dessert as we head home for our grand finale (ie the birthday cake).
Happy Birthday Dear.
the food makes me drooling...
